I was born in South Africa, just outside of Johannesburg.
The outdoors was always going to feature in my life, as my earliest memories were running around camp sites of the various National Parks my family visited whilst I was a child. This passion developed into a true love affair, and every moment I wasn’t in the wild I was playing sport or parked off watching another David Attenborough documentary or reading through one of the various animal guides I invariably received every Christmas.
After completing a two year Diploma in Game Ranging and Lodge Management I moved to my first bush job and have never looked backed.
After 14 years of guiding and managing properties across Southern Africa and Tanzania, including Phinda Private Game Reserve, Tswalu Kalahari Reserve, Abu Camp in the Okavango Delta and Singita, my passion and love for Africa, her people and amazing history have only just begun! Equally at home looking for and photographing Africa’s big cats, birds or sifting through her intricate history. I love traveling, enjoy meeting people and sharing experiences sitting around the fire under African skies.
There is truly nothing like being on an African Safari and nothing gives me greater pleasure than sharing this with people be it for their first time or their fiftieth trip. I have recently relocated down to Cape Town with my beautiful Fiancé Tilly, I am looking forward to a new chapter of exploration and fun.
